           Many products in the market continue to deploy on PCIe® 5.0 platforms, while increasing attention is being placed on the validation stage to ensure product performance, credibility, and stronger market competitiveness.&amp;#11;To help customers accelerate validation processes without being limited by time or location, iPasslabs, a PCI-SIG® Authorized Test Lab, is now expanding its official compliance capability to support PCIe® 5.0 at 32.0 GT/s.&amp;#11;Since becoming the first PCI-SIG® Authorized Test Lab (ATL) in Asia in 2025, iPasslabs has provided official compliance testing services for PCIe® 4.0 and PCIe® 5.0 up to 16.0 GT/s. We are now further expanding our capability to support PCIe® 5.0 32.0 GT/s official compliance testing, helping customers move more smoothly from Pre-test to Official Compliance Testing.

Ltd. and BitifEye Digital Test Solutions GmbH have announced a strategic partnership to expand the global availability of authorized test services for high-speed digital interfaces. To meet the growing demands of AI and Smart Vehicle ecosystems worldwide, the collaboration focuses initially on PCI Express and MIPI A-PHY, with future extensions planned for USB®, IEEE/OIF, and other emerging standards.

MIPI A-PHY is the industry’ s first standardized automotive high-speed transmission interface, designed as a SerDes physical layer specifically for automotive applications. Its features include long-reach and high-speed transmission, asymmetric data link, and high reliability. It is primarily used in applications such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), in-vehicle infotainment systems (IVI), and supporting functional safety and security. As an open standard, many key vendors, including Bosch, Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Intel, Samsung, and Sony, have joined its ecosystem. This means automakers can source compatible components from different suppliers, reducing single-vendor risk and lowering costs through production at scale.

            過往，車輛內部感測器、顯示器與中央處理器之間的連結，多仰賴各家廠商的專有技術，缺乏共通標準。MIPI A PHY是業界首個標準化的車用高速傳輸介面，專為汽車應用而設計的長距離、SerDes(序列器/解除序列器)實體層介面。特性包含長距離且高速傳輸、可單向傳輸以及高可靠性。其主要應用在自動駕駛系統(ADAS)、車載資訊娛樂系統以及安全監控等功能，由於它是一個開放標準，許多關鍵廠商，如 Bosch、Qualcomm、NVIDIA、Intel、Samsung、Honda、TOYOTA 和 Sony 等都已加入其生態系。這意味著車廠可以從不同供應商採購相容的零組件，降低單一供應商的風險，並透過規模化生產來降低成本。

            Anritsu Corporation is pleased to announce that iPasslabs Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully been certified as a PCI-SIG Authorized Test Lab by utilizing the Anritsu Signal Quality Analyzer-R MP1900A. This enables iPasslabs to provide PCI Express® (PCIe) receiver sensitivity and other compliance certification services to customers worldwide. As an industry-leading test lab, iPasslabs is dedicated to high-speed communication interface testing, as well as signal integrity simulation and analysis. In collaboration with Credo, iPasslabs has also completed the industry’s first PCIe 6.0 Retimer performance validation. Credo’s PCIe 6.0 Retimer leverages low-latency, low-power digital signal processors (DSPs) and SerDes technologies to significantly extend PCIe transmission distances within AI and server systems, addressing the growing demands of high-performance data centers and modern network infrastructure.

            Anritsu’s MP1900A automated verification system includes pre-system calibration and jitter tolerance testing. Its ability to perform automatic, iterative calibration and verification ensures stable and fast test results, offering crucial support for optimizing data center network architectures, AI computing accelerators, and large Ethernet switch designs. At the core of this system lies the Signal Quality Analyzer-R MP1900A — a high-performance, multi-channel bit error rate tester (BERT) that delivers comprehensive measurement capabilities. It fully supports the R&amp;amp;D and design requirements of next-generation network interfaces such as 800G/1.6T Ethernet, as well as high-speed bus interfaces including PCI Express 6.0/7.0, USB4 v2, and Thunderbolt™. The MP1900A features a built-in Pulse Pattern Generator (PPG) that delivers industry-leading waveform quality, with ultra-low intrinsic jitter (115 fs rms), and a high-sensitivity Error Detector (ED) capable of detecting signals as low as 15 mV. It also integrates multiple jitter generation sources (SJ, RJ, SSC, BUJ), common-mode and differential-mode interference sources (CM-I/DM-I), and white noise generation. Furthermore, with support for link training and Link Training and Status State Machine (LTSSM) analysis, it comprehensively supports various applications including compliance testing, margin testing, and troubleshooting.

He noted that the collaboration with Anritsu began at the company’s founding. With the support of Anritsu’s Bit Error Rate Testers (BERTs) and Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), iPasslabs has been able to quickly meet customers’ needs for testing, debugging, and signal integrity analysis. Eric Shen further emphasized that iPasslabs is now fully equipped to perform complete receiver jitter tolerance testing for PCIe 6.0 and 400G/800G high-speed Ethernet applications. Looking ahead, iPasslabs anticipates continued collaboration with Anritsu on next-generation testing needs, including PCIe 7.0 and ultra-high-speed Ethernet at 1.6 Tbps and 3.2 Tbps.

The products feature 1.85 MMPX connectors and utilize a patented technology co-developed with the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) to optimize via design for enhanced electrical quality, ensuring users to achieve more accurate testing results.

           This week is the PCIe 6.X Pre FYI Workshop. As a partner of the PCI-SIG serial enabling working group, iPasslabs is responsible for the "Tx/PLL" test item. The primary purpose of the FYI Workshop is to assist in the development of the PCIe 6.X compliance testing specification that enables iPasslabs to obtain more opportunities to test PCIe 6.0 development products ahead of time. Especially with the addition of "SNDR" and "RLM" test items in PCIe 6.0 TX.

           Compared to other labs, we are now equipped to provide customers with pre compliance test.
