iPasslabs Technology and Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) has announced a collaboration to expand PCIe® testing and certification services in the Korean market. The collaboration combines TTA’s local resources and customer support capabilities in Korea with iPasslabs’ expertise and experience as a PCI-SIG® Authorized Test Lab (ATL), further strengthening access to PCIe testing, validation, and certification services for customers in Korea. Under this collaboration, TTA will serve customers locally in Korea by supporting PCIe testing and validation projects, including local project coordination and testing services. iPasslabs will provide PCIe ATL-related technical support, and consulting services. Upon completion of the required testing, iPasslabs will review and confirm the test results in accordance with PCI-SIG requirements and support customers through the subsequent process toward official PCI-SIG compliance qualification. This collaboration enables Korean customers to access local PCIe testing resources directly through TTA while leveraging iPasslabs’expertise in PCIe Compliance Testing and the PCI-SIG compliance process. Together, the two organizations aim to establish a more complete and efficient service workflow—from local testing and technical validation to official compliance qualification. As AI, High-Performance Computing (HPC), data centers, and next-generation computing platforms continue to advance, PCIe technology is evolving toward increasingly higher data rates. At the same time, the complexity of high-speed signal integrity and compliance validation continues to increase. Moving a product from design and engineering validation to official compliance requires not only a comprehensive test environment, but also in-depth knowledge of PCI-SIG specifications, test methodologies, and compliance procedures. “Korea is one of the world’s most important markets for semiconductors and advanced technologies,” said iPasslabs. “Through our collaboration with TTA, we aim to extend iPasslabs’ experience in PCIe ATL services to Korea, enabling local customers to access professional testing resources more conveniently. By reducing the communication and time costs associated with cross-border validation, we hope to help customers accelerate product validation and progress more efficiently toward official compliance.” “Korean semiconductor and system companies have long borne a significant burden in having to turn to overseas test laboratories for PCIe compliance certification. Through this collaboration with iPasslabs, Korean companies can now leverage TTA’s testing infrastructure and the expertise of a PCI-SIG Authorized Test Lab in a single, seamless process,” said TTA. “By extending our testing and certification services into the high-speed interface domain, TTA will be a reliable partner that helps Korean companies shorten product validation timelines and strengthen their competitiveness in the global market.” About iPasslabs iPasslabs Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2021 by a team of experts in high-speed signal testing and validation. Headquartered in the Neihu Technology Park in Taipei, Taiwan, iPasslabs officially became a PCI-SIG® Authorized Test Lab (ATL) in June 2025. iPasslabs specializes in high-speed interface testing and provides comprehensive, one-stop solutions—from product design and simulation to validation, debugging and analysis, and official compliance testing. In addition to validation services, iPasslabs develops and provides its own PCIe® 6.0 test fixtures and DataCom ISI Boards. The company also distributes related testing products and provides technical consulting services. iPasslabs actively collaborates with leading global technology associations and partners as a key technical contributor within the high-speed interface ecosystem. The company is also committed to continuously expanding its global service network, bringing professional capabilities closer to customers worldwide. About TTA The Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) is a public-interest organization established under Article 34 of the Framework Act on Broadcasting Communications Development, dedicated to ICT standardization and testing and certification. Since its founding in 1988, TTA has led the development of Korean ICT standards and international standardization activities. Through its Testing and Certification Laboratory in Bundang, Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, TTA provides domestic and international testing and certification services across a wide range of ICT fields, including mobile communications, networks, broadcasting convergence, and software. TTA has been designated as an authorized test lab by numerous global technology organizations, including the Wi-Fi Alliance and PTCRB, enabling Korean companies to obtain internationally recognized certification testing without relying on overseas test laboratories. Through this collaboration with iPasslabs, TTA will extend its testing and certification services into the high-speed interface domain and more effectively support Korean semiconductor and system companies in PCIe product validation and global market entry.
